Aiva’s Story is exclusively for Penny Arcade Expo visitors, as well as GameStop stores in the U.S. and Electronic Boutiques in Canada
Aion: Tower of Eternity is getting some love from DC Comics with an exclusive comic titled “Aiva’s Story” that will only be given to those that either have their PAX 09 badges or stop by either GameStop (US) or Electronic Boutique (CAN).
NCsoft and DC Comics have partnered up to publish “Aiva’s Story,” which is a limited edition comic book that is based on the upcoming MMORPG “Aion:Tower of Eternity”. The comic has some heavy hitters for its creation such as renowned artist Neil Googe and well known writers David Noonan and Ricardo Sanchez. You can get for free if you purchase Aion at GameStop stores in the United States, as well as Electronic Boutiques in Canada. This is in addition to the lucky few that can get it at Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle Sept 4-6, but only a limited number will be given out at the PAX Aion Booth.

Aiva’s Story describes the life of Aiva, a young Asmodian warrior who vows vengeance against the Elyos that killed her family during a raid. Aiva trains ceaselessly, hoping to become a Daeva and someday find her nemesis on the battlefields of the Abyss (where only Daevas can go). Her story unfolds in the limited run comic by NCsoft and DC’s Wildstorm Studios.
Here is NCsoft’s Official Game Description of Aion:
Unlike any MMO before it, Aion is a uniquely crafted online experience where flight offers much more than just a way to explore the landscape – it is a strategic and integral part of combat, quests, and exploration. Players will dive into battle and plunge through thousands of unique, story-driven quests, all while trying to save a world literally shattered in half from centuries of brutal conflict. Using one of the most flexible and in-depth character customization systems ever featured in an MMO, players will be able to create genuinely distinct characters and explore a visually stunning world of ethereal beauty brimming with otherworldly inhabitants, mysterious enemies, and ancient secrets. Aion launches September 22, 2009.
