Gunz: The Duel is getting a new quest challenge that will allow gamers to go head to head with progressing npc bosses, adding a new dynamic to the game that honestly changed the face of MMOs by sparking huge interest into MMOFPS.  Rather than being limited to pvp tournament style gameplay, players can face off in Survival Mode which are quest style battles that require the defeat of 3 challenging bosses with over 20 changing senarious and 100 rounds of gameplay.  Each round features a final boss that, as players advance through each round, gets even more challenging.

gunz survival“This highly anticipated update will give even the savviest of GunZ’s players a thrilling and demanding new test of their endurance and skill,” said Philip Yun, CEO, NHN USA, which hosts ijji.com.  “We know our community and the brave explorers of GunZ depend on frequent and exciting updates to the portal and its games.  After all, where is the challenge in a world or map you know inside out?  As gamers ourselves, we get it – we keep things fresh.”

We are used to seeing great updates on games of all kinds but this progressive style game system is one of the better ones we have seen recently.  This new survival mode really changes the scope of Gunz from a tournament pvp game into a more rewarding progressive experience that has tremendous potential for even more features to be added as players progress in skill.  Great job NHN!

Hi, thanks so much for these tips! My blogs usually do bring readers and responses. One thing I do is engage with the readers. Answer questions in responses and make clarifications where needed. I think they appreciate that I take the time to talk to them.
